When deploying reports by using the rs.exe you can get the error: "Error : rsAccessDenied (The permissions granted to user ‘MyDomain\Administrator’ are insufficient for performing this operation.)".
Solution
- Go to the ReportManager [http://YoureServerName/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx]
- Site Settings (on top of the page)
- Security
- Add you’re account to the role [System Administrator]
- Go to the home folder
- Go to Properties
- Security
- Add you’re account to the roles [Browser, Content Manager, My Reports, Publisher, Report Builder]
If the security chain is broken in the subfolders you will have to repeat the steps for each subfolder

Has anyone figured out how to change these permissions without report manager?
my ssrs /reportServer site functions fine, however I cannot access the report manager site (separate fun issues, trying to resolve).
and I was desperately hoping there was another interface that I can use to modify the permissions
Thanks the extra step in folder roles did the trick
