Solving: Access to the path "…..\*.rptproj.user" is denied.

In some cases the *.rptproj.user will be created read-only, uncheck “read-only” on the file and the error will be resolved.

  1. Unfortunately, “*.rptproj.user” is NOT marked as “read-only” in my case… any other suggestions?!

  2. Or in my case I had hidden the file accidentally, and unhiding it in the folder solved the problem.

  3. When you spend more than an hour going over the permissions and other complexities just to realize it was this simple. Thanks, kudos for you
