The jQuery unobtrusive validation was not working for asynchronously loaded html.
We fixed this by kick starting the unobtrusive validation:
// Kick start unobtrusive validation for async loaded content
var validator: any = $.validator;
validator.unobtrusive.parse(‘#PopupForm’);
