If you have problems synchronising you’re Windows Mobile 6.5 on Windows 2008 RC2 and Microsoft Outlook 2010 with the message “Outlook is not the default email client”, you can set Microsoft Outlook 2010 as default email client in Microsoft Outlook 2010:
File > Options:
Check “Make Outlook the default program for E-Mail, Contacts, and Calendar and ”Click on “Default Programs”
Check the Select all checkbox.
Install Windows Mobile device centre 6.1 (Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 Driver for Windows Vista (64-bit).exe). Sync you’re Windows Mobile 6.5 and uncheck the One Notes sync
This worked for me, I am know syncing my HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 phone with Microsoft Outlook 2010 on a Windows 2008 RC2 x64 server.

Still not working, anyone any other tips?
I rarely create comments, however after browsing a bunch of comments here Sync problem with Windows 2008 RC2 or Windows 7 x64 and Microsoft Outlook 2010 with Windows Mobile 6.5 resolved. I do have a few questions for you if it’s okay. Could it be just me or does it seem like some of the comments look like they are coming from brain dead people? 😛 And, if you are writing on additional sites, I would like to keep up with everything fresh you have to post. Would you list of the complete urls of your social sites like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog?
Its very well written; I love what youve got
to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with
it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two images.
Maybe you could space it out better?
